Clustered across the realm of thoughts

Lay abundant the shimmering words

Every time I picked up the pen

The blank page stared at me in fright

Scribble my body, with the sharp weapon

One that is mightier than a sword

Shatter on me, truth and freedom

One for your cause, others for who I am!

Shackle that clutches the thoughts of young writers

Freedom is a word, feared most.

When words that broke the silence and revolt,

Poured through pen and shattered pages

The very hand that quilled the thoughts

Perished and allayed forever?

Shower mercy to set free, thoughts that ignite a fire
