Psalm Of An Infant
Psalm Of An Infant

I'm a small child, really a small one
With a clean mind and pure soul
I know no tricks, no tactics
Neither any worldly philosophy
It's not that I'm imbecile
I'm not ignorant either
Just a simple child
Who loves love
To give love to get love
I know mere love transactions
Monetary ones are far from my reach
I've a strong vocabulary
Where ego, honor and hatred
Are non-existent
And where love, affection reign supreme.
I propagate happiness, laughter
Through my honest talks
I know no deception.
Mumma taught me to be honest.
From the very inception.
I've no greed yet I'm greedy
My mumma's motherhood
Daddy's love and care
And lots of love from everyone, anyone
Is my only temptation
In this transient bubble of infancy
I live every day, dream everyday
Like a different isolationist.
In this world but far away from this world
Just want to reside in this bubble forever
With my little friends
But the needle of age is wicked
Sharp, precise and accurate indeed
Would rupture and burst this bubble
Stain my heart with hate and greed.
There's god inside my soul they say
Save me from this world I pray
Life is tough, it’s cruel, I’ve heard
Love me forever and do keep my word.
