Poet's Inspiration

Writing a Poetry is an art,

To express a poet his thought,

One used to read and comment,

It used to give value, to the time a poet spent.

Earlier poets used the words to fight,

A pen was a sword and a poet was a knight,

Revolution had happened but not in a night,

Poets opposed ideas and reserved their rite.

War poets, Romantic poets, and many others were on site,

People read them all and made the days bright,

They enjoyed the words and without spite,

Appreciated the poets whatever they used to write.

Now the time has changed, people became quiet,

Writing comments have become harder than a firefight,

The poet asks you to be the source of light,

Do comment on poetries otherwise Why will a poet recite?
