Plant a tree

I made a promise to plant a tree

It offers pleasure, absolutely free

I plant a tree every now and then

And nurture it with love and fun

I water the plants and see them grow

And dance in the winds to and fro

As they grow thick and tall

Surrounding us with a green wall

In its shade, we will play someday

Eat drink and party all-day

Trees bless us with fresh air

We should return their love and care

Let's take a vow to plant a tree 

To secure a future we wish to see

Our well-being lies in these trees

To cherish longevity let's plant trees
