Physio: A Choice Not Restraint

Eighteen years back, Daddy's girl took her first breath;

Blessed by everyone, "Doctor, she'll be," they dreamed,

Curiosity woke up and realized, Doctor is one who treats;

Rewarded by the smile of patients, what else a doctor needs?

Enraptured when got selected, "whoopee!!!" She screamed;

"Physio? You wanna be, "a massager?" , He screeched,

Indignant if he was, obdurate was she;

Cried for her wants, undoubtedly daddy's love came in between.

Society bemocked - Money you may earn but respect you can't,

Respect will she earn, when she'll make you move when you can't,

Respect will she earn, when she'll relieve your pain when pills can't,

Respect will she earn, when she'll escape you from knives when surgeon can't,

Yes!!! She'll work sedulously with those who have a malady,

Yes!!! She'll strive to regain their normality,

Yes!!! She'll be competent, confident and second to none,

Yes!!! She'll be a physiotherapist and she's proud to be one
