People

Society will tell you 

To not 

Speak up for yourself

They'll tell you 

To try and adjust

They will tell you

What to do with your life

And expect you

To follow their advice

Folks will tell you 

What they don't like

And will want you 

To dislike it too

They will give you commands

And not tolerate 

Any questions you have regarding them

People will scold you,

Ask questions

And slap you for your “back answering” 

People, folks and society can be your family
