Peace

The sky is clear, the clouds are gone

I lay on the lush velvety grass; my knees bent and my hands crossed behind my head.

I looked around for people but there were none. The scene seemed perfect, like an aesthetic image; pleasing to the eyes and wonderful to the mind.

The placid waters of a pond nearby, the chirping of birds, and the sound of wind blowing; All of it was just music to my ears.

The color of my dress matching with the sun, the faint sound of the grass brushing each other, my hair flowing like waves of a sea.

The calmness of the moment, the noise yet quietness of the scene, it all made me go back to that imaginary scene; as my sister shook me and I opened my eyes realizing what I and most probably the whole world had lost
