Peace - His Decree

You fight in the name of caste,

You fight in the name of Gods.

You cut, kill, maim and lynch,

Without knowing HIS true words.

You want your caste to prevail,

Your religion to reign supreme.

But to do so with blood and iron,

That's but a terrible dream.

Can't you but stop and think,

It's your brethren on other side.

Just drop the swords of hatred,

And let your heart open wide.

For HE who created the world,

Didn't draw such a dividing wall.

HE wants us to live as one,

And heed humanity's call.

But if violence is all you crave,

And hatred's on your mind.

Then this 'eye for an eye' notion,

Will soon leave us all blind.

So let's break the walls of hatred,

That caste and religions raise.

And live as HE commanded,

And walk his righteous ways.
