Orphaned
Orphaned
Orphaned I feel,
Not in the darkness of the night,
But while I am wide awake,
In broad daylight.
Thousands I meet,
On my daily way.
They treat me well,
Needless to say.
People cry on social media,
Without even a real try.
We talk to share problems and not happiness.
The poor and the destitute,
Today are happier than they look,
And the men of substance,
Are forgetting their purpose of existence.
Everyone is lost in a maze,
Of winning a race.
Having lost themselves,
To win the race.
Am I alone who gets freaked,
By the ongoing streak,
Of orphaning the human, happiness in you,
Or do you feel orphaned Too?
