One Fine Evening
One Fine Evening
As soon as there’s even a hair-line of
space between us,
only enough for air to rush in,
she’d barge in.
Again, and again.
Right from the beginning of a warm sigh,
in the middle of a blink,
and at the end of some passionate cuddling.
She just somehow always showed up,
like light, surpassing everything.
I crave for moments like this.
heartbeats unsettling
like a cat on a hot tin roof.
Bodies warm like volcanoes,
and mind trapped
like a trance beat in room, soundproof.
Each passing second
we exist in each other evermore.
She, like magic i’d believe in.
I, like a spell she’d long for.
