Happiness is a state of mind

Mind, a manifestation of an attitude

Searching it here, and there, nowhere to find

In times of despair, regain hope with fortitude

Realising fortune, things of material and money - But

Actualizing self brings heartful of honey

None can make you happy or sad

Dancing to other's tunes, make one go mad

On a pristine stream, this life's a cruise 

Tossing it up, and down, a gentle sway

Hurricanes of heart rock it with a bruise

Let's sail through, put the worries away
