Oh! I Am A Girl
Oh! I Am A Girl
Oh! I am a girl.
So what? Is my work to just fall?
People call me a loser,
Society takes my life and soul from me,
I move here and there crying for my life,
But I never get my happiness back.
Oh! I am a girl.
So what? Don't I have any right on my own life?
They force me to do things where my interests lack,
And I am unable to fight it back,
My voice is kept mute by my own people,
Just for their prestige and respect.
Oh! I am a girl,
So what? Is any living soul to help me there?
I am dragged inside by my own thoughts,
From where I am unable to return back,
They take my soul with them,
Leaving my low spirited body lying on there.
Oh man! yeah, I am a girl.
So what? isn't me a human?
Where can I get my happiness and living soul back?
Yes, I do want to enjoy and live my life of my own,
Please can anyone put their encouraging hand on my shoulder,
And say 'yes I am there'.
Oh yeah! I am a girl,
Waiting for my time to come back.
