Ode to Guru!

A stretch of arm when falls short of making a human

An apostle appears thus purge to cleanse divine churn

God doesn't descend always leaving his abode heaven 

And sends the teachers in stead, to nurture them profane 

To salvage all humans from their spirits as a demon

The first tiny step when crosses the home line

A mother waits in the school to embrace widen 

A father loves to bet to make his future heaven

The first little finger when picks a pen to learn

The teacher toils carving letters from imagination 

His every stroke of brush makes him a human

Her every touch blesses the infant's innocence

As time passes, the kid grows into a fully grown man

And forgets the school from where he stepped in to learn

Having known the craft of living and the art of life reborn

I bow before all my teachers who made me human

In memory of their teaching, wisdom and learning divine

As teachers, YOU all would shine in memories fine

In all your pupils whom you have shown the path to shine

You were born to become a teacher as destiny of morn 

You will become one with element after your life is gone

But, Your Lux would shine the souls of thousand human

Remember, as a star YOU would never lose your divine gleam

Remember, as an Ode YOU would be forever sung as a hymn

In the temple of mankind till the clock reminds us mundane

You are the life-changer and destiny-maker of thousand human
