He sinks into the wicker chair,

Not for him any cause for Despair,

For he had done,

For he had tried,

With all his might,

With Care of the hand slight.

To take it out from her,

To remove that which had gripped her from within,

To relieve her from the pain,

For which she would exchange-even a death,

Which had crept into her with stealth?

He has to eat, sleep off his heart and head,

To take the battle, next day, ahead.

To help her recover from the effort and strain,

Much , waiting for them to gain.

He knew he was not alone,

In this battle forlorn.

The Light would descend on her ,

Venom to kill poison within would flow,

To add life to the years -Given,

Who knows how many more lives to Liven?
