Nonchalant Poetry
Nonchalant Poetry
I guess the pen is wearisome of poetry
And poetry is wearisome of the pen
Yet the scribbler-- wearisome above both
Does not cease to maintain their divine engagement
For it's better than the saga of estrangement
From the hollow dialectics
That the room offers
The irises go scanning to look for the nonexistent -
Enrichment, intelligence, and beauty
Yet all hopes in vain
The scribbler traverses through the inner cosmos
That beholds the sought
And ends up making the pen kiss the paper
And forming nonchalant poetry.
