My Wishes

Star-studded night 

And the ostentatious Moon 

Ridiculed me, ostracized me. 

My promise to the azure sky 

Of bringing a paragon 

To demolish the 

Haughty Moon's pride remained unfulfilled.

Just when I started to build 

The nest of our love 

On my heart's tree, 

You ditched me. 

Confidence of my wishes 

On the tree became inverted 

And your moony face 

Fell from its nest to the teary river.
