                                              My village my birthplace.

It situated on the bank of Wardha river

Belong to the Vidarbha of Maharashtra state

River’s a lifeline of Vidarbha’s people

It starts from Satpura ranges of MP state

Many tributaries meet with it during its course

Dham and Bembhala are its main tributaries

They were two major movements at bank of Dham river

They’re historic and significant to the entire state

 

Late Vinobha Bhave led his voluntary land reform scheme,

And Mahatma Gandhi operated nation’s freedom drive

Pavanar was Vinoba Bhave’s Bhudan workplace

Whereas Sewagram was Gandhi’s freedom invoice

Both significant places are nearest from my village

There’s a merger of Dham with Wardha river at village

Wardha river has a wide basin at my loving village

There’s railway big bridge connecting Howrah to Mumbai

 

 Hence its name “Pulgaon” due to big railway bridge

It has also big ammunition depo of India state

The cotton mill would produce Rajasthani’s textile

Its bank has many famous pilgrim places like 

Kaundanpur, Kotheshrvar and Pulgaon in its zone

All these pilgrim places’ famous historic temples

Where they would worship and enjoy annual fair

These are the marketplaces for various articles 

 

There’s split of river’s mainstream into five streams 

All these streams would meet in a deep big vessel

It’s popularly known as Kund in local tongue

Devotees would perform their religious heritage 

After funeral to their beloved departed relatives

Hindu would perform after death religious heritage

These’re the centres after funeral for local people 

Annual fairs would make the enjoyment for local people
