My Road!

Taking the road less traveled 

Here I'm still walking on

It's been a long time now

Alongside I too have grown

The enthusiasm of old times

Still tackles any sort of worry

There are many lessons I know

Still to be learnt in this story

What about those tall claims

Which led to the start of that time

Well! Except believing in self

I'm yet to commit any crime

Met few who were coming back

Leaving their journey in between

Maybe they thought chess is easy

You just have to remove the queen

And the setbacks have been there

Frequently making their presence felt

Sometimes their dent proved costly

But not enough to make the decision melt

The decision to create a path

In the territories unchartered

Lead the fight from within

To the times I faltered

I still have the option I know

Going back is still not far

But staying back here I choose

I will fight until the end of this war

If I see the bad all this while

No possibility of reaching the top

But if I choose to see the good

The fact that I'm still here is enough to not stop

For all these lessons learned

And the surprises unraveled

I think it's best to keep going on

Through the road less travelled
