My Little Sister
My Little Sister

In the lonely modern world
Spending time playing alone
My life was pretty much lifeless
Then she came, with her small steps
I found life added to my days
Was bit jealous of her at first
As she had all the attention in the world
Even mine, at that time
She and I grew up
Playing and fighting each other
Taking care of each other
In the home where both were working
She was always the one with me than my parents
As time went on we grew a bit apart
Physically due to changes of puberty
But got closer mentally with each fight
Years passed by sooner than expected
She no longer was that cute girl who held my hands to crossroads
But grown-up women in a wedding dress
I had my tears filled in my eyes at her marriage
But I never let it roll down my cheeks
She left our home to a new home
Now it's been a year
Time has run so fast that in this few minutes
I relived those childhood moments
Still, I have one regret
There was one thing that I always wanted to say to her
And that was
"Your the best sister in the world"
And "I love you and miss you so much"
