My Countryside

My Countryside

6.9K

Freshly laden grass, mystic dew drops around

Heavenly serenity, enthusiasm at its wild

Paves the way to an epitome journey

The road to my countryside

Thousands of honey bee collecting nectar

Amidst the forest flush and green

Hopping children, dropping laughter

Warm welcomes, cozy hugs at the anthropocene

Chirping eyes, tickling ribs-walking along umpteen

The countryside view ,soothens and calms my soul

Mutual harmony persists beyond, dreams take a toll

Gypsy nomads pass by, singing the cuckoo song

Shouting the stories of wit and valour, folktales, playing a gong

Abandoned fortress stand majestic

Heroic deeds played with whimsical throng

My countryside, my beloved childhood

So many memories to keep

Heart pounds with fervor and nostalgia

I lay in your arms for rest; indeed
