My Childhood Experience
My Childhood Experience
Southwest monsoon started that year early,
Our village got the most rainfall severely,
Streets were full of water puddles merely,
I returned from the school cheerfully.
I jumped into the puddles joyfully,
Water splashed on the ground lightly,
My school uniform was drenched heavily,
Even my big school bag was wet slightly.
My intention was to enjoy the rain fully,
I never thought about the impacts actually,
My body said enough but not the mind surely,
Mother saw me playing in the rain angrily.
She warned me not to play in the rain seriously,
And yelled at me to come inside directly,
I responded to her call immediately,
And I stepped into the home wetly.
Mother came with a spoon to beat hurriedly,
Grandma stood before me like a wall suddenly,
She said that I was a small child worriedly,
And I realised my mistake finally.
