My Brain Child

My heart's got a brain 

and my brain's got a heart 

Both entangled, 

We survive thinking about the past. 

She is bouncing around in me

Taking me through deep forests 

and wide oceans and

The never-ending stars.

Together we hear the waves crashing, birds chirping and people laughing and

A thousand loud soundless emotions.

Together we create and together we kill,

And together we are stuck in this place of sin.

Embracing her, waiting for the timer to go off realising,

Without her, I am just a robot.
