She loved playing a euphonious piece on the piano,

The soft decibel quietened the demons clamoring in her head,

Her dainty fingers languidly flowed across the keys,

Stopping just long enough to not miss a beat,

She sequestered herself with her music,

But lately, she played only the difficult pieces,

With notes clustered together and her fingers chasing each other across the keys,

Her mellifluous music growing clangorous day by day,

Leaving her once again the prisoner of the cacophonous realm.
