Mother's Love
Mother's Love
Love in itself is always so pure
One we can shower, anytime for sure.
Then what to say of a Mother's love
That in contrast to any is truly above.
Freely it flows, mother to her child
N abundantly so, to every grandchild.
Yet, in due course of transformation
It gets into the mood of stagnation.
The mother becomes a mother - in - law
N the love in her heart requires a thaw.
The mother's heart is the same,
The love there, at times, become lame.
I wonder, why does it happen so?
What could be done to cure this woe?
Acceptance of the daughter - in - law
A simple solution to solve the jigsaw.
Compare her not with your own self
For she is truly unique in her own self.
Your special son is special to her too
This is the truth and nothing askew.
Replacing you is not in her thought
For bound you are, in a special knot.
A mother's love cannot be
.....imitated, rated, or debated.
Open your heart and set it free
......for love is to be liberated.
