Blessed heart for all the joy

My soul has felt today

Remembering the time when you were born

February's most beautiful day. 

The smile of early spring

Making blossom glow

It was sweet, beautiful and innocent

Raising my spirit in happiness so.

A moment deep and strong

Expanding the mind

You were born

And that happiness was undefined

A different view of life

All a blessing

A hope of bright prosperity 

Many more not only this.

A glimpse of truth divine

Unto my spirit given

Illumined by a ray of light

A baby direct from heaven!

I felt there was a God on high

By whom all things were made

I saw his wisdom and his power

In all his works displayed.

Most moral world

I saw glory shine

Saw her wisdom infinite

Her mercy all divine.

Deep secrets of God's providence 

In darkness all concealed

Were brought to my delighted eyes

And graciously revealed

While wondering, I saw

My baby's wisdom was so divine

I did not tremble at her power 

I felt the God was mine

I longed to view the blessing

Make up her own home

To yet see glory of her face

My god, I still remember the:
