Miss Hanini
Miss Hanini
A tea bag soaked in hot water,
Inside the cup become darker,
I sipped some a little bitter,
And it seduces my eyes to tears.
Cloudy were they, it was about to rain,
I, alone, wasted and broken,
But she came near to ease my pain,
To all my madness, she listened.
Just when I thought nobody cared,
She was there, some moment we shared,
At my back, her heartbeat, I heard,
She was behind me, so endeared.
She put some honey on my tea,
Though its colour was still dark grey,
Its bitterness no longer stays,
Her sweetness swept it away.
She did it with a little art,
Without a word, she told my heart,
“I’m here with you, no matter what,”
It listened to her, no more hurt.
So I came into my senses,
And bid goodbye to my madness,
Just some moment I felt her kiss,
I got up and straightened up my knees.
