Misfortune

Misfortune

Your silence replenished

The vacuum in the heart.

Diffidence vanquished confidence.

Looking at your reticent lips

And reading the vernacular

Of your eyes,

I meandered on the

Path of uncertainty.

Granting me the tag of lovelorn,

The unending sky followed me

Dropping only acid rain of hatred.

Perhaps it loved you so much

And wanted me to be ousted fully

From your life,

I smirked at it to slake

The poison of my misfortune.
