Mirror

I saw myself in someone else’s eyes,

But I can’t see the person I am? 

It was not me,

It was someone else,

Who just looks exactly like me.

I can see a beautiful smile,

But, that was not me.

The smile differentiates me from her.

She can smile,

She can laugh,

Just, exactly like me.

But, my true reflection is not what I see...

She is so perfect dripping in gold.

And I am a sinner from head to toe.

Her smile can melt anyone’s heart,

But mine, can burn them.

She is an angel who gets everyone’s love,

And I am the demon, that no one wants.

She’s a pure soul, who gives life to others,

And I am the demon who hides in her soul.

She’s my, reflection,

She IS MY reflection.
