Under the water, a mermaid sits

surrounded by tortoises and fish

she lives under the sea

enjoying the sea life to see

One day, she swam to the shore

as the tide was very low

she saw a handsome man

standing by the land

The man saw the mermaid

which was a site rare

The man was mesermerised by her beauty

and gave her a kiss as if it was his duty

The mermaid turned into a young girl

her fish legs disappeared for real

They both got married and lived happily ever after

and separated never
