Memories Of You

The stars have disappeared and died,

I'm learning to look at the empty sky,

Though it might take me some time.

I'll slowly lose your embrace,

Your loving, sugar gaze.

The glimpse at your hazel eyes,

Which sprung me back to life 

When I was dying inside. 

All will be forgotten and gone,

Though, not easily I must warn.

The roses you gave,

The kisses that made my day,

Your smile, your eyes,

Now, the roses dried,

A measely tatto where the kiss marks lie,

A simple goodbye? 

All will be left in memories,

But the cure for a broken heart is not simple, my lady.

Tears are words that need to be written,

Maybe I'll learn to love again after you left me stricken.
