Me And The Light
Me And The Light
I'm not a night person,
To be honest.
But I want to be.
The stars within me,
Don't have enough light
Like the morning sun and sea.
Whenever I'm alone in the day,
I enjoy the company of nature,
Music; dancing around the house,
Making sandwiches for me,
I love it.
I guess the moon isn't me,
As much as the sun is,
But then, I guess,
Life isn't really what I want it to be.
So here I am,
Alone in my room,
Basking in the light of sun,
Listening the birds chirp,
Rustling of leaves,
Silencing my mind like the waves of the sea;
Just like I hoped the moon,
And it's star would,
Once do to me.
