Me And My Music

By understanding the seven notes of music, I make melodious Bandish.
By harmonizing raga-ras,
I flow the emotions of the mind.

Being engrossed in musical instruments,
I understand the importance of tones,
By making garlands of sargam,
I decorate my bandish.

By taking turns of raga-alaap,
I smell the atmosphere,
With the luscious bandish of ragas,
I amuse my mind.

By singing melodious tunes of music,
I wake up Naad and Brahma,
By playing melodious songs,
I please my God and Goddess.

By worshiping music,
I make my life musical,
By Playing melodious tunes in "Murali",
I spend my life in fun.
