Matter Of Time

Matter Of Time

I was running and so was Time, I asked it to laze, it refused to comply. I sat under silver space beneath the starry sky, pulled 'it' with gravity, Time couldn't deny. Together we sat, little did it budge, now my questions began to surge.

Rights & wrongs, soothing songs, happiness, friends, and fears. The likes desires, rains, and fires, journeys spread with tears. So, in the foggy cold precincts, two loners conversed. One was a lost traveler, the other never reversed.

Then ended the colloquy, eyes glimpsed the sky, The sun wished with radiant bars, silver and stars bade goodbye.

Struck amazed, surprised I gazed, realizing the broken accord, Turned back to Time, to peace my mind, and query the defraud.

Sit with me, or move along, I will not be led.'The master' said I am the 'Time'I can never be stopped!
