" Love Sanctifies Life"

" Love Sanctifies Life"

I fell for you, for you were

The fall of my demons in me,

You held the torch so bright and

So long for me, no matter into

What depth of dark my nights

Drowned, you never leaped away with a promise

But stayed with an assurance that breath life

To my brittle ribs and the

Reason to the red of my heart.

To pick all the silhouettes and

Wipe the blue off my soul,

The hope that you hold in your eyes

For me, is so much I had not asked for

since it is easier to say for it’s never the same, nonetheless,

You hold my hands and walk me through my hurdles

As if it were made for you to resolve

Oh how could I deserve so much

Of sacredness and love in a man?
