Love is not in the time
Love is not in the time
Love is not in the time,
But only now, from brevity to precision,
From instant to instant, from moment to moment,
And timeless cessation. Observing the time as time,
And this winking of time is eternity and love.
Love is not prehensile and ravening,
Cumulation is merely heat and desire,
And the pleasure which is in time, not beyond time,
Only the false image of self-contained time,
And time is coherent and continuous,
And continuity is not love.
And which decays and suffers is not love,
Love is in the riffle of the moment,
And in the wavelet of time,
The time which is at present and in a flash...
