Love In Terms Of Grey

The way we project love on Television, Web series, Movies, Long walks, Rain dance, Beach shacks, Candle lights and Guitar notes easily deceives you into believing that love is happening, love is kind, love is peaceful. That love is white. 

Partially right. 

But, 

1. Have you come across the love that acts as a therapist to your trauma and abuse? It acts as a shrink to your bloodied spirit, making some space for you to heal. 

2. Have you come across the love that acts as a small magic? Like the tiny pale brown House sparrow sitting on a window and the earthy smell of the first monsoon rain when you are having mild mood attacks. 

3. Have you come across the love that comes in pieces? The love where you love them to pieces and they reciprocate in pieces - sometimes just by ignoring your call and sometimes just by not replying to your drunk text.

4. Have you come across the love that is temporary? Like the affection between Iron and Humidity is temporary, causing an irreversible damage to the Iron - their tragic love story is called Rusting. 

5. Have you come across the love that is fossilized? You go digging and unearthing the remains of your prehistoric love - like an archaeologist loves fossil, you love the obsolete love. 

6. Have you come across the love that is graveyard? The graveyard made by people who made you suffer the consequences of ghosting - the graveyard you are trying to convert into garden, grin and growth. 

7. Have you come across the love that tried to be the home to someone else? You wanted to be their domicile but they thought you are just a shabby shack that needs to be left. 

8. Have you come across the love that knows how to forgive but doesn't forget? You will eventually forgive the person that has wronged you but you will never forget the painful journey of becoming a Daffodil - you thought you were a Sunflower but they overwatered you; killed your vibrant yellow. 

9. Have you come across the love that failed because of planetary transitions? Where the Venus is weak in your 7th house or the leftover Karma has come to grab your collars because of the Venus-Ketu conjunction - the malefic effects. 

10. Have your ever come across the love that is Autumnal? The love which has equal participation and reciprocation from both the people involved at one point of time - just like the perception that everyone worldwide sees the same amount of daylight and nighttime in Autumnal Equinox.
