Love An Illusion
Love An Illusion
You took a vow to always remain true,
I believed you, thinking your love was true,
My dreams, I thought were your dreams,
Together riding on the wave of our love.
I had made a commitment, so did you,
Swearing on our love, to be together, always
You fooled me when I trusted you, with,
Your pretension of love, I asked you why,
You laughed in my face, and said,
Only one fool falls in love, with another fool,
And I am no utopian native like you,
I don't live in a world of fools,
For to me love is a destination, a way out,
To live life on on my own terms, and,
You are not in my scheme of things
For You are a Dreamer and a loser,
I need a winner, and winner you,
Never will be, in life, but only in your dreams.
For me winning always is everything.
I thought about your cheating heart, for,
The temple of love, I built in my heart,
Its idol lies shattered,
In the premises of mind,
For you taught me that, love is an illusion,
And not the sweet sentiments of reality.
