Long Lost

When they heard her story,

They were filled with fury,

Too much to hold,

What they didn't know,

The threshold of the stronghold,

Was theirs to bow,

They didn't know-how.

In the beginning, they lost track,

Took a long loop,

All they did was to snoop.

In whispers they cooed;

She is lost.

Her ways are of the wicked,

But do we save their weekend?

They, they are long lost.
