Life - A Teacher

Life - A Teacher

Innocence is a veil

Which many uses to sail

Past the looming colors of assail

Which life's cricket uses as bail

Ignorance is way beyond

Like the muddy puddles of water and sand

Unable to identify good and bad

One has to step in to cross and wade

Either Innocently ignorant

Or Ignorantly innocent

A human tends to suffer

If (s)he is any of the above

Life's lessons are hard to learn

They are even difficult to master

But knowing the art of dealing

Would give life more meaning
