Lady In The Moonlight
Lady In The Moonlight
Under the moonlight,
And the starry skies,
Upon the rocks,
In the face of night,
She sat in silence,
Lost in thought,
Waiting for someone,
Was all I caught,
Dazzling beauty with daggering stares,
Genuine or subterfuge,
Not that I care,
Depth of an ocean,
Warmth of the sun,
Such were the stance of the lady insigne,
Hiding in the clouds,
The orb was pouncing
Revered by her elegance,
And charm of her beauty,
Feelings of jealousy and that of the awe,
Joyful or dismay,
Couldn't comprehend his mass,
The south wind was smiling,
For it did, what none could do,
Stole a kiss from the beautiful roses,
Did in the plain sight,
And none could pose,
Ego of the rocks who boasted enough,
Broke down in an instant upon her touch,
Scrutinized eyes befall her grace,
Such is the innocence of her face,
Enthralled by her beauty, I wonder,
Is it soon enough to doubt her reality,
Or late enough to prove her virtuality..
