Kid - Nap

My little one is smiling 

In her sleep

She must be dreaming

Something nice and deep

Like mountains of chocolate

With candy trees

Rivers of juice

And honey without bees

Like schooling in a park

With slides and swings

Fairy like teachers

With wands and wings

Like playing with friends

All day long

Eating ice creams

And feeling strong

Like a magical castle

Full of toys

Lots of colours

Lots of noise

Oh! She woke up

With a start

And cried it out

With all her heart

I gently held her

In my lap

She smiled and drifted

Back to her nap
