Kanha, you don't know me...

You come like spring...

You come like spring...

,

The sound of the flute comes to me like spring

Melt me in your presence,

As if I am inseparable from you

Close the door of your filthy shack

Be full of passion in this joy,

My eyes watered with happiness

without anyone knowing

I salute you in my heart,

(yet)

Kanha, you don't know me...

The entire Gokul is crying

The entire Gokul is crying

Kanha, you are going to Mathura

to make you alive

in a chariot made of grass,

All come cruel and cruel

I say nothing but move without hearing

I am sitting on the balcony numb

The rumble of chariot wheels

And when the horse's hoof fell on my ear

I raised my eyes and looked

Chariot with flag, large coat of arms on it

You are happy, seated in a chariot illuminated by the full moon.

The weeping gopis are walking with you with arms outstretched

All the cows are walking back and forth, jumping

Your supernatural eyes are wet with tears

They are red with grief

You look back at them

I am like a stone

Without saying anything, without moving, without crying, silently there

Kanha you don't know me, but

Yet for a moment your chariot halted in front of my hut

Your eyes are wet with tears to me

Your heart is full of compassion

Smile on your lips when you see me

you smile for me

Kanha… know me Kanha…?

Kanha knows me...?

Do you know me...?
