Journey
Journey
Every time I step out for a journey
Your domestic eyes confine the lustre
in me, make my feelings numb.
Responsibility wakes up
The reckless me sleeps down soon
Like a tired mountain
Ready for a siesta.
Only my clipped wings roam
From sky to sky boundless,
In a dark collage amidst the
Twinkle towers and a galaxy
Ever growing fathomless;
Before every journey, we take a journey
within and draw a map in vision,
Rucksack on the shoulder
And a compass for eternity.
For every journey
Only the heart matters,
A deaf ear is sure to reach the destination.
