International women's day

Today is international women's day,

Take a bow, step back, allow them,

The freedom to walk their own way.

Each of them will turn out to be priceless gem,

Women are in fore front in all fields,

In sports, politics, business

They have etched their name,

They stand equal and tall, to win many shields.

They play to win, whatever the game.

 Women play different roles,

They have clear ideas, they have clarity, even in strife,

They have logic, and set their goals,

Wherever they are, they bring stability in everyone's life,

Respecting them, these few lines I write, in their honour,

For their wisdom in showing the way,

I like to have them in my corner,

Each and every day.
