Inert Self
Inert Self
With a firm footing on the ground
Looking upward with unfaltering eyes
The exhibitions of the clouds
In different fashions, in different models
And in different moods
On the screen of the sky
We must excelsior.
The Sun's sprinkling colors of variegated hues
On the vast sea of the sky
I, you, each and every one
Are from Adam
Having different experiences of our own
We do not share the same view of the world 's appearance
Sharing views of different worlds
As reflected in each other's own mind
Are all due to ignorance
Never sharing the same notion
Of the sky as the consciousness
That master over one's inert self.
