Indian-hood. Best Of All Hoods
Indian-hood. Best Of All Hoods

The residence of uncountable good hearted people
Who from time immemorial have been supple.
Seventh largest country by area and first largest by heart – India!
The precious land, a diverse one, the place of birth
Of personalities who have made this place heaven on earth!
We do not have the cleanest of roads
But we do own the cleanest of hearts!
We have been ruled, we have been mislead,
We have been forcibly travelling paths laid by unknowns
Making less good to our own
Not because we are weak or powerless
But because to us, making somebody else feel blessed
Has always given a higher degree of happiness than feeling blessed!
Such a land of honor we have been,
A greater range of thorns than roses we have seen
And there are a very few among us legibly proud
Of all that we have been and all that we are!
Coming to what we would be, they say “As you sow, so you reap”,
And for all that we have sowed we are to reap,
Unknown of what many people leave!
To leave your motherland and pledge happily
To be a citizen of a foreign land,
Is very analogous to happily unsubscribe yourself from your mom and dad!
And you come back here with troubles,
This land that brought you up will be more than glad to welcome you,
With all that warmth you feel you don’t deserve!
But please do step back, for, it’s said “a mother’s heart is an all-time forgiving court!”
To be born is beautiful; to have been born with no sort of handicap is a blessing,
To have been born in a land of love and live a life of giving is inexplicable!
To get buried in the soil you were born, the one that yielded you,
Is to live a life of eternity with out rebirth!
