To the Nation was Abating...

To the Nation was Abhorred...

When we were striving for our Independence 

Our leaders gathered in attendance...

They marched while sweating blood

And laid down their lives 

Independence was for very few 

The whites rebelled against us and we were sued.

The Privilege of staying strong 

Was the call of the National Leader's 

Standing In The Frontline...

Waiting for the Independence Sunshine 

And here we are today 

Remembering the souvenirs, Let's pray 

And care for our nation in every possible way
