Does that beauty adorn my mind?

Only in the dreams, I see

Does that beauty graces the soul

When the mind remains in glee.

Does that beauty place its hands

In the woe-stricken soul of mine

Does that beauty leads me there

Where the sun is bound to shine.

Does that beauty accompany me

In the pleasant days when I roam

Does that become my friend

Whenever I am away from home.

Does that beauty show me the temple

Where the Gods reside of my redemption

Does that beauty secretly tell me

To give away all my temptation.

Does that beauty say in sleep

That my this passive state will end the next hour

After which there will be again

A renewal of that blissful shower.

Does that beauty only stay in dreams?

And not appear in my day's sight

Does that beauty only throw down

Everything that hitherto was light.

Does that beauty know these answers?

Which I seek all day and night

I think that beauty exists in dreams

And fears to appear in my sight.
