Image of an Indian Bazaar
Hustling and bustling, muscling and jostling of people in a traditional Indian Bazaar,
Is a graphic image where the tempo peaks till the entire market is feverishly astir!
There is constant humming and buzzing like the sound from a hive of honey-making bees;
As if the customers’ pent up energy, in sudden outburst has found scope of release
The crowd thickens every moment, one has to push, shove, elbow and squeeze,
The hectic activity must go on unabated, the pandemonium cannot cease,
In a high-pitched voice a shop keeper sonorously advertises his merchandise
In the shop windows are displayed novelties of attractive colors, variety and size
The customers excitedly hop in and out of the quaint different many-faceted stores,
Too many choices to select from make it difficult to decide is one of their major woes
They haggle they bargain, they enumerate a dozen reasons to lower the given price,
With prolonged arguments with the unruffled shopkeepers, time simply flies
Marketing in an Indian Bazaar for clothes, accessories, eatables or glassware
Is fun-- with customers, like ants from a disturbed nest, thronging everywhere
