Icarus Nights or On Belief

These are my Icarus nights,

Of trying new things,ideas, fantasies, stories

Those days when I try to climb

Too fast

Too high

But they say that the sun is too hot

To climb any higher

And so,

I believe their words,

Unconfirmed beliefs melting my wings away,

Letting feathers blow too far to be collected again
